wtodbm()

Converts Watts to dBm and returns a real or complex number

Syntax
dbmVal = wtodbm(Value)

Arguments
Name Description Range Type Required
Value Value in Watts (-∞, ∞) real, complex yes

Examples

wtodbm01_M = wtodbm(0.01)
returns 10
wtodbm1_M = wtodbm(1)
returns 30
wtodbmC_M = wtodbm(complex(10,2))
returns 40.094/1.225
