asin()

Returns the arc-sine of an integer or real number

Syntax
asin(x)

Arguments

Name	Description	Range	Type	Required
x	integer or real number	[-1, 1]†	integer, real	yes

† A warning will be issued if value is out of this range

Examples

asinV = asin(0.9)
returns 1.12
asinV = asin(-0.5)
returns -0.524
